Job Description
At least 3 - 5 years experience in online marketing to support the Country Manager in the development of the business. The primary focus is to improve customer engagement and maximize revenue
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
Site Ownership - this person should feel that they are accountable end-to-end for all aspects of the AU, NZ site and customer experience. Once the marketing team delivers a customer to the first page of the site, it is this personâls responsibility to make sure that the customer has a wonderful experience till they complete the transaction is the best it can be.
Site analysis & improvements
o Ability to use Omniture and other internal tools to constantly track the performance of site pages and flows, make recommendations for improvements and see these projects through to completion
o Monitor developments on other sites and work closely with European and US teams to implement best practices and successful programs
o Maintain dashboards and constantly improve revenue generation, conversion and customer experience
o Work with AU/NZ team to plan and implement onsite promotions to ensure seasonal events are maximised
Business Analysis – Look at the Daily, Campaign, Co-brand and other reports, spot patterns, detect anomalies and own the data for AU & NZ
Competitor analysis – monitoring activity by competitors, reporting back to Marketing team and making recommendations for action if required
Testing – ability to test new site flows and existing flows in QA, promotions, products launches etc, and see through bug fixing with the relevant team. Exceptional attention to detail is required to ensure all promotions, pages, new launches etc run smoothly with zero errors.
The Site Manager should demonstrate a passion for online marketing and excellent analytical abilities as well as exceptional attention to detail. He or she must by highly self-motivated and be able to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership. PERFECT English skills are required, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to work across a number of teams, influencing other team members as required.
The role is based in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will work closely with the Australia and New Zealand team (based in Sydney, Australia) and the European and US Site Managers (based in London and San Francisco). Therefore, some flexibility around time zones is required.
